CH In the golden month of September, new dream-seeking journeys begin. For the 2026 autumn semester, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics welcomes international new students from across the globe. Learners from many nations gather on campus, bringing fresh vitality to the School’s international education endeavours. To help international new students quickly adapt to campus life at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and strengthen ties between Chinese and international students, the School hosted an ice-breaking exchange activity for Chinese and overseas students on the afternoon of October 9.
By sharing their academic journeys and personal interests, and taking part in group interactive games, students broke down initial barriers and deepened mutual understanding in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. This ice‑breaking event effectively bridged the distance between Chinese and international students, laying a solid foundation for international new students to integrate into the School community and adapt to the cross‑cultural campus environment.
The School will continue to refine its international talent cultivation system, build a diverse growth platform enabling Chinese and international students to communicate and learn from one another, and steadily advance the quality of its international education.
