
Liu Weidong welcomed Secretary-General Jiang Hui and her delegation. He noted that Shanghai Jiao Tong University and APSCO have a deep foundation for cooperation and have achieved remarkable results in projects such as the "Student Small Satellite (SSS-2A)" and international summer schools. On the basis of consolidating existing cooperation, the two sides can further explore innovative educational models and jointly cultivate high-level talent with an international perspective.

Jiang Hui expressed gratitude for the warm reception from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She emphasized the importance of project cooperation between APSCO and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, noting that degree education should be combined with hands-on practical training, and expressed the expectation to work hand in hand with universities to jointly promote space science and technology education and capacity building in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization was established in 2008 and is headquartered in Beijing. It is an intergovernmental, non-profit international organization composed of countries in the Asia-Pacific region, with full international legal status and registered with the United Nations.
